The Brownsville Midget Football league is a non-profit youth football & cheerleading organization, that is comprised of volunteers that dedicate countless hours for our neighborhood children.  The BMF relies on the selflessness of volunteers and funds raised by donations and fundraising.  At the BMF, we believe that the children come first, above all, and we accomplish this by following the STAR model.  We start with STRUCTURE.  Without a solid foundation, there is nothing to build on. Followed by TEAMWORK.  We instill the idea that a team can accomplish more than any one individual. Next is ATTITUDE.  A great attitude in sports, and life, will take you 10x further, than a poor attitude.  Last, but not least, is RESPECT. Respect needs no explanation.  We drive STAR home several times a day throughout practice, not only to the children, but to the parents as well.  We believe that STAR starts at home and will follow outside of the home.
